Another Coach is Dismissed at Northwestern

Jim Foster has been removed as head baseball coach after a university investigation found “sufficient evidence” that Foster “engaged in bullying and abusive behavior.” Assistant coach Brian Anderson will lead the program during the transition. [Tribune]

Rev. Jesse Jackson Resigns from Rainbow/PUSH Coalition

Jackson will be stepping down as president of the civil rights group he founded in 1996. Jackson is expected to choose his replacement in the next few weeks. [CBS 2]

TTX Rail Company is Leaving Chicago

The company, which manages 170,000 freight cars for major U.S. railroads, is moving its headquarters to Charlotte, North Carolina after being in Chicago for over 50 years. TTX, which employed about 280 people at its Chicago headquarters and 500 total in the area, said many employees would stay in Chicago. [Sun-Times]
