Magnificent Mile Starbucks Workers Reject Union
The decision to turn down union membership at the five-story roastery and largest U.S. location has dealt a major blow to the Workers United International Union. Employees who voted against unionization said the union caused divisions among staff. Workers United claims Starbucks led intimidating one-on-one anti-union meetings, among other aggressive tactics.
