Chicago Workers to Get 10 Days Paid Leave

Despite some major business groups’ objections and a parliamentary move earlier this week in City Council, alders passed the ordinance in a 36-12 vote. Starting Dec. 31, workers will get 10 days of paid leave annually, up from the five days they were previously guaranteed. [WBEZ]
