The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday that states like Illinois don’t have the authority to remove the former president from the ballot under the 14th Amendment. The higher court reversed a Colorado Supreme Court decision in December, which a Cook County judge relied heavily on in her ruling last week. [Sun-Times, WBEZ]
