Due to a leak on a high-pressure water main, Beverly, Morgan Park, and Auburn Gresham residents are advised to boil their water for about five minutes before consuming it. This includes water for teeth brushing, washing dishes, making ice cubes, and more. [ABC7]
Ed Burke’s $96K Annual Pension Has Been Suspended
Shortly after his June 24 sentencing on federal corruption charges, the Municipal Employees’ Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago board voted to stop the former alder’s $8,027 monthly pension payments. [WTTW]

Transit Agencies Say No to Merger
