Will UI Health Nurses Strike?
University of Illinois hospital and clinic nurses voted overwhelmingly last week to authorize a strike, according to the union. Nurses are looking for better pay, staffing, and security; though, a strike could be avoided with more bargaining dates scheduled for this week. The current contract is set to expire Aug. 19.
