Chicago Police Got Overtime at NASCAR, RNC
More than 1,500 officers worked overtime at this year’s NASCAR race, earning $1.6 million, according to an early analysis. That’s up from last year. More than 80 officers also earned $281,000 for overtime before and during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. [South Side Weekly]
