Good morning! It’s Thursday, which means I’m on day four of avoiding laundry. Not because I hate clean clothes, I just have a grudge against folding them afterward. The whole laundry process has given me anxiety since I learned that dryers are terrible for fabrics — more on that below.

Bally’s Casino earned $124.6 million in its first year in Chicago, just short of the city’s projections. Bally's also landed $940 million in financing for a permanent location set to open in 2026, despite questions about the ability to perform in a crowded gambling market. [Sun-Times 🔒]
