UChicago Student Evicted After Protest
A University of Chicago student has nowhere to live after the college evicted him this week following his arrest at a pro-Palestinian demonstration on campus earlier this month, the student’s attorney said. A university spokesperson said the school doesn’t comment about individual student disciplinary matters. [WBEZ]

Early Voting Turnout
So far, more than 86,000 ballots have been cast in the upcoming general election. That’s a lot less than the over 306,000 ballots cast during the same time period in 2020, but one election official said that year was an “anomaly.” [WTTW]
