December 17, 2024
It’s the season of giving, and we’re asking you to give us a vote for the Reader’s best local newsletter and podcast 🫶 And, now, give your attention to the rest of today’s Hey Chicago 👇

What's CITY Talking About?
Will Union Station Get Makeover?
Amtrak is preparing to modernize the nearly 100-year-old downtown station it owns next year. Last renovated in 1991, Union Station could see improvements like rehabbing abandoned platforms, overhauling the station concourse, and bringing other platforms in compliance with federal disability standards. How to Participate in 'Prisoncast!'
The audio journalism project is for people incarcerated in Illinois prisons and their loved ones. Airing on Chicago and Illinois Public Radio stations, people can make requests for the show; though, not all requests will air. The holiday program is Sunday from 2–4 p.m. [WBEZ]
I am pissed off to the highest of pisstivity.
