Feds Raid Albany Park Home of D.C. Shooting Suspect

Albany Park resident Elias Rodriguez is suspected of killing a couple in Washington, D.C. Wednesday night. The victims were killed outside the Capital Jewish Museum and were both employees at the Israeli Embassy. On Thursday morning, the FBI and other law enforcement officials searched Rodriguez’s home, closing off a block of Troy Street. [CBS]

Steam Picks up on Ride-Share Regulation

After Uber was caught overcharging on downtown congestion fees, Illinois lawmakers are signaling a desire to crack down. In addition to a state bill on “junk fees” under consideration, Ald. Debra Silverstein (50th) pledged to hold a hearing over Uber’s recent error. Ride-share drivers also rallied against congestion fees outside of City Council on Wednesday. [Block Club]
