🪧 ICE protests ramp up in Chicago

June 10, 2025 · — Emmi Mack

Bravo Chicago! I’ll be blunt: I’m not a ballet person. But Joffrey Ballet’s production of “Alice in Wonderland” was a giddy ride down the rabbit hole, full of trippy visuals. At Thursday night’s opening, I was indeed able to follow a story entirely told through pliés, arabesques, and campy costumes.

“Alice in Wonderland” runs at Lyric Opera House through June 22.

One more ballet pic, because this Queen of Hearts costume is hard. Literally.
