After Mass Shooting, Future Uncertain for River North Restaurant

Four people were killed and 14 were wounded in the shooting Wednesday night at Artis Restaurant and Lounge. The new queer- and Black-owned spot has been closed since then, and now the area’s alder is calling for permanent closure. The venue was the site of a mixtape release party for local rapper Mello Buckzz, who lost her boyfriend and best friend in the drive-by shooting.
