Hey freeloaders! Earlier this summer, Chicago street fest organizers sounded the alarm over rising costs, urging Chicagoans to donate at the gate. But at Market Days in Northalsted, just before David Archuleta’s Sunday night set, an organizer took to the stage to say that gate proceeds were down 20%.

So this is your little reminder to help keep Chicago street fests alive.
