Lincoln Park’s Lily Pool is Back

After years of renovation, the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool has reopened. The natural area has had many ups and downs, from its beginnings as a Victorian garden in the 1800s, to a “dead world” by the 90s, to a restored refuge and National Historic Landmark. The latest closure, which began in 2023 and lasted longer than expected, was to repair damaged wooden pavilions. [Block Club]
