Judge: Chicago Police Reform Too Slow
Seven years ago, a federal consent decree ordered the Chicago Police Department to stop violating the constitutional rights of Black and Latino residents. In that time, CPD has complied with just 22% of the decree’s requirements. A federal judge raised concerns about the dragging pace of compliance. [WTTW]
