What's CITY Talking About

How AIPAC is Throwing Its Weight in Chicago

Laura Fine; Cook County Commissioner Donna Miller; and former U.S. Rep. Melissa Bean. None would answer whether they support conditions on aid to Israel. See where other candidates stand. [WBEZ]

DePaul Art Museum Closing

The DePaul Art Museum, right next to the Fullerton CTA station, will close in June after nearly 15 years. The news comes following mass layoffs at the university in December. Its final exhibits open March 5. [Block Club]

Chicagoans' Favorite Venues

Chicago indie venues may be struggling, but locals are shouting out their love for live music. Fave concert spots include Reggie’s, the Auditorium, Salt Shed, the Old Town School of music, Jazz Showcase, and even Daley Center Plaza in the summer. [Sun-Times]
